In their next game, the Scorpions face the Rio Mesa Spartans (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 30. Camarillo will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 27-26 non-league win over Oak Park (Oak Park, CA).

The Musketeers (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Royal (Simi Valley, CA). The Highlanders go into the challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Royal nipped Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA), 39-0, in a league challenge.
