Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles (Beckley, WV), 3-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Greenbrier East moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Princeton (Princeton, WV) to clash with the Tigers in a Coalfield AAA test on Tuesday, September 3. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Princeton lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Bluefield (Bluefield, WV)

The Flying Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host St. Albans for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Woodrow Wilson will clash with a Red Dragons team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Red Dragons record now stands at 0-3.
