The Raiders now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Amherst County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. Appomattox County will play a Lancers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Lancers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Buckingham drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Altavista (Altavista, VA) to play the Colonels in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Colonels come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Altavista won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA)
