The Meadville Bulldogs soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Franklin Knights to 1 in the Bulldogs league victory on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now hold a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Warren for a District 10 Region 5 bout on Wednesday, September 4. Meadville will play a Dragons squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to General McLane (Edinboro, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Franklin moves to 1-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Greenville (Greenville, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 31. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Greenville lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA)
