Fans at Thursday's league battle between the McCall-Donnelly Vandals (McCall, ID) and the visiting Weiser Wolverines (Weiser, ID), saw McCall-Donnelly's soccer squad hold off Weiser by a count of 1-0.

The Vandals (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Emmett (Emmett, ID). The Huskies enter the non-league battle with a 0-3 record. In their last battle, Emmett was edged by Parma (Parma, ID), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Wolverines battle the Payette Pirates (Payette, ID) in a 3A District III battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Weiser will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
