Shippensburg Greyhounds (Shippensburg, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), 9-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Shippensburg advances its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Waynesboro (Waynesboro, PA) to clash with the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Indians come into the test with a record of 1-2. Waynesboro lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Gettysburg (Gettysburg, PA)

The Huskies now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Big Spring for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31.
