In Thursday's league test, the Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the host Del City Eagles (Del City, OK), by a tally of 20-0.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Noble Bears (Noble, OK) in a 5A District 2 test, on Tuesday, September 3. Piedmont will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 10-8 record after their 4-2 league win over Guymon (Guymon, OK).

The Eagles (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Piedmont (Piedmont, OK). The Wildcats go into the 5A District 2 test with a 7-1 record.
