The Jefferson Dragons softball team scored 7 runs and held the visiting Oconee County Warriors to 0 in the Dragons league win on Thursday.
The Dragons now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Hall for a 3A Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 5.
With the loss, Oconee County moves to 3-11 on the season. The Warriors host Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA) to confront the Bears in a 3A Region 8 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 8-4.
