The Johnson County Trojans softball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Twiggs County Cobras to 0 in the Trojans league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilkinson County for a 1A D-II Region 5 battle on Tuesday, September 3.

With the loss, Twiggs County moves to 0-1 on the season. The Cobras travel to Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A D-II Region 5 battle on Tuesday, September 3. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 6-1. Georgia Military College won 14-0 in their recent non-league battle against Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA)
