Georgia High School Softball - Lamar County bounces Towers

The Lamar County Trojans softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Towers Titans to 0 in the Trojans league win on Thursday.

The Trojans now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crawford County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 3. Lamar County will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-1 league loss to Schley County (Ellaville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Towers moves to 0-4 on the season. The Titans travel to Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to confront the Hurricanes in a 1A D-I Region 4 battle on Tuesday, September 17. The Hurricanes come into the battle with a record of 11-2.
