Oklahoma High School Softball - Woodward bounces Mount St. Mary

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Woodward Boomers softball team scored a tight 12-7 victory over the Mount St. Mary Rockets.
The Boomers (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Alva (Alva, OK). The Goldbugs go into the non-league match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Alva tipped Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK), 7-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Rockets battle the Community Christian Royals (Norman, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 30. Mount St. Mary will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Royals go into the match with a 6-7 record after their 20-1 non-league win over Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK).
