The North Cobb Warriors softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Walton Raiders to 0 in the Warriors league win on Thursday.

The Warriors now possess a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockmart for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 4. North Cobb will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Walton moves to 8-10 on the season. The Raiders travel to Cherokee (Canton, GA) to confront the Warriors in a 6A Region 5 battle on Thursday, September 5. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 7-7. Cherokee won 15-2 in their recent league battle against Wheeler (Marietta, GA)
