In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Quitman Bulldogs.

The Fighting Owls (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Greenville Christian (Greenville, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Greenville Christian lost by Prestonwood Christian North (Prosper, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Wolfe City Wolves (Wolfe City, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Quitman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Sulphur Bluff (Sulphur Bluff, TX).
