North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ascend Leadership bounced by Southern Wake Academy

The Ascend Leadership Aviators volleyball squad (Sanford, NC), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC)

With the win, Southern Wake Academy improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions host River Mill (Graham, NC) to encounter the Jaguars in a Central Tar Heel 1A battle on Tuesday, September 3. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 3-4. River Mill lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against The Burlington School (Burlington, NC)

The Aviators now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woods Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A battle on Tuesday, September 3. Ascend Leadership will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 3-3.
