In Thursday's league challenge, the host Dudley Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Atkins Camels.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the Mid-State 3A challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Ben L. Smith lost by Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Camels play the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a Mid-State 3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Atkins will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
