In Thursday's league match, the Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Chargers confront the Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC) in a Eastern Plains 2A match, on Tuesday, September 3. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record.
