Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY) and the visiting Paris Greyhounds (Paris, KY), observed Bishop Brossart's volleyball team top Paris by a count of 2-0.

The Mustangs (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Beechwood notched a victory over Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

With the loss, Paris drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Berea (Berea, KY) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 31. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Berea lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lee County (Beattyville, KY)
