The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats (Franklin, KY) volleyball knocked off the host Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Glasgow for a non-league bout on Monday, September 2. Franklin-Simpson will clash with a Scotties team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Warren East (Bowling Green, KY). The Scotties record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Butler County drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bears host McLean County (Calhoun, KY) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 3. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-6. McLean County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY)
