Ohio High School Volleyball - Greenon edged by Cedarville

Cedarville Indians (Cedarville, OH) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Cedarville improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Southeastern Local (South Charleston, OH) to face the Trojans in a Ohio Heritage South test on Tuesday, September 3. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 4-2. Southeastern Local lost 3-1 in their recent league test against Madison Plains (London, OH)

The Knights now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dayton Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Greenon will face a WARRIORS squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Waynesville (Waynesville, OH). The WARRIORS record now stands at 5-0.
