North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Rutherford bounced by Chase

The East Rutherford Cavaliers volleyball squad (Forest City, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Chase Trojans (Forest City, NC)

With the win, Chase improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Trojans host Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC) to encounter the Bearcats in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, September 3. The Bearcats go into the battle with a record of 2-5. Hendersonville lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Polk County (Columbus, NC)

The Cavaliers now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patton for a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A battle on Tuesday, September 3. East Rutherford will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Freedom (Morganton, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 8-2.
