The Clay County Tigers volleyball squad (Manchester, KY), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY)

With the win, North Laurel improves its record to 2-2 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Jackson County (McKee, KY) to encounter the Generals in a District 49 battle on Tuesday, September 3. The Generals go into the battle with a record of 1-4.

The Tigers now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McCreary Central for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. Clay County will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
