In Thursday's league challenge, the host McIntosh Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Dupree Tigers.

The Tigers (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Battlers come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] beat North Central (Eureka, SD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Tigers play the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) in a B Region 8 challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Dupree will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Wakpala (Wakpala, SD).
