East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Carter improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 1-3.

The Eagles now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johnson Central for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Fairview will encounter a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Wolfe County (Campton, KY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
