The Ridgedale Rockets volleyball squad (Morral, OH), was defeated 3-0 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH)

With the win, Elgin improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Comets host Triad (North Lewisburg, OH) to encounter the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 31. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 1-4. Triad lost 3-0 in their recent league match against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH)

The Rockets (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Buckeye Central (New Washington, OH). The Bucks enter the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Buckeye Central notched a victory over Wynford (Bucyrus, OH), 3-1, in a league match.
