In Thursday's non-league match, the Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Harrison County Thorobreds (Cynthiana, KY), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Flyers battle the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 31. Franklin County will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Maroons enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY).

The Thorobreds (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Calvary Christian (Covington, KY). The Cougars enter the non-league match with a 2-2 record.
