The Gallatin County Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Owen County Rebels to 2 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Williamstown for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 31. Gallatin County will play a Demons team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Trinity Christian Academy (Lexington, KY). The Demons record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Owen County drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Rebels host Eminence (Eminence, KY) to play the Warriors in a District 31 outing on Saturday, August 31. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 5-2. Eminence won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Henry County (New Castle, KY)
