In Thursday's league challenge, the Heide Trask Titans (Rocky Point, NC) volleyball team defeated the host West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), by a tally of 3-1.

The Titans (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack enter the Waccamaw 1A/2A challenge with a 4-1 record.

Next, the Vikings meet the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 4. West Columbus will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Leopards enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC).
