North Carolina High School Volleyball - Thomas Jefferson overwhelmed by Highland Tech

The Highland Tech Rams topped the visiting Thomas Jefferson Gryphons volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Rams face the Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A game, on Tuesday, September 3. Highland Tech will attempt to advance on its 8-1 season record. The Golden Lions go into the game with a 0-6 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC).

The Gryphons (0-3) will now prepare for their game against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Warriors go into the Southern Piedmont 1A/2A game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, East Gaston gained a win over Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
