In Thursday's league challenge, the host Manheim Central Barons volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers.

The Barons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA). The Raiders come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 2 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Eastern Lebanon County was tipped by Warwick (Lititz, PA), 3-2, in a non-league match.

The Pioneers (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Garden Spot (New Holland, PA). The Spartans enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 2 match with a 0-0 record.
