McCook Bison (McCook, NE) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, McCook improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bison host Chase County (Imperial, NE) to encounter the Longhorns in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Minutemen now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cozad for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 3. Lexington will encounter a Haymakers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE). The Haymakers record now stands at 0-1.
