Ohio High School Volleyball - Wooster can't get by Lexington

Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Wooster Generals (Wooster, OH), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Lexington improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH) to face the Tygers in a Ohio Cardinal test on Tuesday, September 3. The Tygers go into the test with a record of 1-4. Mansfield Senior lost 3-0 in their recent league test against New Philadelphia (New Philadelphia, OH)

The Generals now own a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walsh Jesuit for a non-league test on Saturday, August 31. Wooster will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 0-5.
