The North Stokes Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Starmount Rams to 1 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Alleghany for a Northwest 1A outing on Tuesday, September 3. North Stokes will play a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Starmount drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to play the Granite Bears in a Northwest 1A outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Granite Bears come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Mount Airy lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)
