California High School Volleyball - Poly overwhelmed by San Pedro

August 29, 2024: San Pedro, CA 90731

San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, San Pedro advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Pirates host Venice (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Gondoliers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 4. The Gondoliers go into the test with a record of 2-0. Venice won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Culver City (Culver City, CA)

The Parrots now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Hollywood for a East Valley test on Thursday, September 5. Poly will face a Huskies squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-4.
