The Polytechnic Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Providence Pioneers to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they host Flintridge Prep for a Prep outing on Tuesday, September 3. Polytechnic will play a Wolves team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Mayfield (Pasadena, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Providence drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Pioneers host Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA) to play the Armens in a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. The Armens come into the outing with a record of 1-6.
