The River Valley Wolverines volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host St. Mary's Hawks to 0 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolverines now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Westwood for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. River Valley will play a Rebels team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over South O'Brien (Paullina, IA). The Rebels record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, St. Mary's drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Trinity Christian (Hull, IA) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
