Kansas High School Volleyball - Wichita County over Southwestern Heights

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS) and the host Southwestern Heights Mustangs (Kismet, KS), observed Wichita County's volleyball team top Southwestern Heights by a count of 2-0.

The Indians (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Stanton County (Johnson, KS). The Trojans enter the Hi-Plains contest with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Elkhart Wildcats (Elkhart, KS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 5. Southwestern Heights will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Rolla (Rolla, KS).
