    The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY), saw Trinity's football team bounce Frederick Douglass by a final score of 37-0.

    With the win, Trinity advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Shamrocks travel to Archbishop Moeller (Cincinnati, OH) to confront the Fighting Crusaders in a non-league contest on Friday, September 5. The Fighting Crusaders enter the contest with a record of 1-1. Archbishop Moeller lost 43-42 in their recent non-league contest against Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL)

    Coming up next, the Broncos confront the DuPont Manual Crimsons (Louisville, KY) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Frederick Douglass will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Crimsons enter the contest with a 1-1 record after their 27-17 non-league loss to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY).
