    • Texas High School Football - Vidor falls to Silsbee

    August 29, 2025: Vidor, TX 77662

    The Silsbee Tigers felled the host Vidor Pirates football team by a score of 40-15 in Friday's non-league challenge.

    In their next game, the Tigers play the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears (Orange, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Silsbee will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 37-13 non-league loss to Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX).

    With the defeat, Vidor drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX) to meet the Indians in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Santa Fe lost 34-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Brazoswood (Clute, TX)
