Ohio High School Football - Xenia succumbs to Troy

The Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) football knocked off the visiting Xenia Buccaneers (Xenia, OH), 24-14 in Friday's league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Carrollton for a Miami Valley League outing on Friday, September 5. Troy will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 30-0 league loss to Greenville (Greenville, OH). The Pirates record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Xenia drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Butler (Vandalia, OH) to battle the Aviators in a Miami Valley League game on Friday, September 5. The Aviators enter the game with a record of 2-0. Butler won 27-21 in their recent league game against Stebbins (Riverside, OH)
