In Friday's league challenge, the host Neuse Christian Academy Lions volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Thales Academy Apex Titans.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Thales Academy Rolesville (Rolesville, NC). The Knights go into the game with a 0-7 record. In their last game, Thales Academy Rolesville was edged by John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.

The Titans (2-3) will now prepare for their game against St. Thomas More Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Chancellors go into the game with a 1-2 record.
