The Blue Springs South Jaguars softball team scored 7 runs and held the host Gretna Dragons to 5 in the Jaguars non-league win on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broomfield for a non-league battle on Friday, August 29. Blue Springs South will confront a Eagles squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Erie (Erie, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-0.

The Dragons (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Broken Arrow held off Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK), 13-1, in a non-league challenge.
