In Friday's non-league match, the host Norman North Timberwolves softball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Bridge Creek Bobcats.
The Timberwolves (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Piedmont (Piedmont, OK). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 9-2 record. In their last game, Piedmont nudged Guthrie (Guthrie, OK), 5-1, in a non-league game.
The Bobcats now hold a 7-10 record. They play next when they host Guthrie for a non-league match on Friday, August 29. Bridge Creek will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 8-4 non-league loss to Southmoore (Moore, OK). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-6.
