In Friday's non-league test, the Dewey Bulldoggers (Dewey, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Nowata Ironmen (Nowata, OK), by a margin of 13-1.
The Bulldoggers now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Vinita for a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. Dewey will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Miami (Miami, OK). The Hornets record now stands at 6-11.
With the loss, Nowata moves to 1-10 on the season. The Ironmen host Barnsdall (Barnsdall, OK) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 1-5.
