Michigan High School Volleyball - Anchor Bay held off by Yale

August 29, 2025: Fair Haven, MI 48023

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Yale Bulldogs (Yale, MI) and the host Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI), observed Yale's volleyball team hold off Anchor Bay by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brown City (Brown City, MI). The Green Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record.

In their next game, the Tars encounter the Romeo Bulldogs (Romeo, MI) in a Macomb Area - Red battle, on Wednesday, September 3. Anchor Bay will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a 6-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Adams (Rochester, MI).
