Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Cheylin Cougars (Bird City, KS) and the host St. Francis Indians (St. Francis, KS), observed Cheylin's volleyball team top St. Francis by a count of 2-0.

The Cougars (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northern Valley (Almena, KS). The Huskies go into the Western Kansas Liberty battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Northern Valley dropped by St. Francis (St. Francis, KS), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
