The Grizzlies now possess a 17-6 record. They play next when they travel to College Park for a 6A Region II District 13 bout on Tuesday, September 2. Grand Oaks will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Salado (Salado, TX). The Cavaliers record now stands at 12-8.

With the loss, Lake Creek drops to 10-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to North Forney (Forney, TX) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, August 29. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 16-2. North Forney won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Travis (Austin, TX)
