In Friday's non-league match, the IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Knights battle the St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, August 29. IC Catholic Prep will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Green Wave enter the match with a 1-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL).
The Blazers (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Westmont (Westmont, IL). The Sentinels enter the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Westmont held off Plano (Plano, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
