The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Union Grove Lions (Gladewater, TX) and the host Jefferson Bulldogs (Jefferson, TX), saw Union Grove's volleyball squad notch a victory over Jefferson by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Union Grove improves its record to 5-10 on the season. The Lions travel to Rains (Emory, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 0-12.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Atlanta for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Jefferson will meet a Rabbits team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Harleton (Harleton, TX). The Rabbits record now stands at 4-10.
