Alaska High School Volleyball - Kenai Central bounced by Soldotna

Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Soldotna upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Kodiak (Kodiak, AK) to meet the Bears in a 4A Northern Lights challenge on Friday, September 5. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Kodiak 1-1 in their recent non-league challenge against South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)

Next, the Kardinals meet the Homer Mariners (Homer, AK) in a non-league test, on Friday, September 5. Kenai Central will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Mariners go into the test with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Mountain City Christian Academy (Anchorage, AK).
