Nevada High School Volleyball - Lund over Mineral County

Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Lund Mustangs (Lund, NV) and the host Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV), observed Lund's volleyball team top Mineral County by a tally of 2-0.

The Mustangs (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Indian Springs (Indian Springs, NV). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Indian Springs was defeated by Tonopah (Tonopah, NV), 2-1, in a non-league test.

The Serpents now own a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tonopah for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. Mineral County will encounter a Muckers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Baker (Baker, CA). The Muckers record now stands at 4-3.
